This has to be one of my favorite bedroom makeovers to date! And apparently it's also a fan favorite! It's been shared on pinterest, instagram, design FB groups, and even went tik tok viral. I'm thinking it's time to share all the deets with you all!! Let's dive into this bedroom design.

Paint- I still have these paint colors memorized! We decided to go with a contrasting palette. Walls, ceiling, and trim are Simply White by Benjamin Moore, Accent wall is Black Beauty by Benjamin Moore. Now this was designed in 2020 and as we know trends and styles change at a very rapid pace. A question I get a lot is "Are accent walls still a thing?". Although the trend now (Early 2024), is to go big, or go home, meaning paint all walls, and even the ceiling the same color, or nothing. I think you can still make this accent wall trend work today by choosing the correct furnishings and accessories to help balance it out. I personally think this bedroom does not look outdated. I think the classic bed frame, traditional rug, and some of the accessories help make it timeless.
Furniture- Let's break down the furniture pieces. The most asked question on this photo is where is the bed frame from? It was a lulu and georgia find, and lucky for you they still carry it! The brass/gold nightstands were the perfect addition to help balance the natural elements. You can find them here. The bench is unfortunately no longer available. Rug was also Lulu and Georgia.
Lighting- I wanted to bring in an organic element and this pendant light from CB2 seemed to check that box. Unfortunately it is no longer available either but this one from Arhaus has a similar vibe.
We also had these sconces at each bedside to help provide additional lighting at night.
Accessories- I really had to do some digging to find some of these. I knew the green pillows were from West Elm, I am not 100% sure which ones but I think their European Flax Shams look pretty darn close! The arched mirror is also a West Elm find. The Fiddle leaf is actually real and we bought it together with the planter at a local plant shop.
One of my favorite places to look for art work is Etsy. I found this print (an actual print not a digital download) and got a simple black frame for it. I think it helps complete the space.
I hope you found some inspiration for creating your own cozy haven. Check out these additional images, and let me know which elements caught your eye most! (The follwing photos were taken by Alexis Landis Photography)

Such a well-written post and honestly one of the most underrated topics in entrepreneurship — trust isn't something you can manufacture overnight, it's built through consistent ethical behavior over time. The point about prioritizing integrity over short-term benefits is so important because so many early-stage entrepreneurs make the mistake of cutting corners for quick wins, not realizing that one unethical decision can permanently damage a reputation that took years to build. What really resonated is the idea of trusting your product and trusting yourself — because confidence is contagious, and if you genuinely believe in what you're building and stay true to your original vision, that energy naturally attracts the right partners and customers. For young entrepreneurs especially, understanding that…
