I’m thrilled to share that my work was recently featured in American Farmhouse Style Magazine. It’s a meaningful milestone and a beautiful opportunity to showcase the kind of spaces I love to create—soulful, timeless, and thoughtfully layered.
The Vision: French Country, Refined
This home’s exterior leans French country, and I carried that character indoors with a curated mix of cottage charm, traditional bones, and quiet modern notes. The homeowners wanted bright, airy rooms that feel open and welcoming for gatherings. We kept the light walls, cabinetry, and countertops. Then introduced depth with texture, natural materials, and a few moody moments.

Entryway: Pattern, Welcome, Presence
The entry sets the tone with pattern and warmth. We paired Morris & Co. Willow wallpaper with tile from Louisville Tile for soft movement underfoot. A small wooden bench from Ballard Designs grounds the vignette and adds a collected, cottage sensibility right as you walk in.

Den: Embracing Mood and Light
Rather than fight the naturally lower light, we leaned in to create a cocooned retreat. Walls and trim are Benjamin Moore Rocky Coast, a gray with blue undertones carried through from the entry, and we added vertical paneling for architecture and rhythm. A sofa from Interior Define and a pendant from Crate & Barrel introduce layered texture and a gentle glow cozy, intimate, and serene.

Kitchen: A Custom Moment at the Heart
In the kitchen, the statement is the custom green granite range hood, designed with a local fabricator. It brings a sleek, modern counterpoint to the classic envelope. We mixed wood tones—seen on Four Hands barstools—to add warmth and dimension. Hardware is a refined blend: satin brass pendants from Visual Comfort and unlacquered brass cabinet hardware from Signature Hardware that will age beautifully over time.

Living Room: Stone That Steals the Scene
The fireplace is the room’s anchor. We selected a stone with organic movement to draw the eye and elevate the entire space. The result is rich, inviting, and—most importantly—finished in a way that feels both fresh and enduring.

A Grateful Feature
Seeing this project in American Farmhouse Style was a pinch-me moment. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the details that make a home feel personal—crafted with intention, beauty, and meaning.

If you’re ready to bring your vision to life, I’d love to help you create a home that feels like you. Schedule a design consultation to get started.
